Cosmolex provides a familiar and simple user interface that allows our firm to quickly and efficiently manage billing and times.

Cosmolex does my reporting for me and makes the accounting portion of things easier for me and my accountant. I can print cheques straight from the program which is nice. I am no expert on these programs but if you’ve just opened your own practice like me you will want to choose this one over the competition. LawPay has made my life so much easier too. It’s not like the other services that will draw service fees from your trust account- a big no no.

I chose CosmoLex because it integrated the accounting feature. I was trying to learn QuickBooks, which isn’t built for attorneys. As long as I had to learn an accounting system, I thought it might as well be part of the Practice Mgmt System I also needed to buy. I didn’t see many other PMSs where the accounting is built in. CosmoLex was pretty easy to learn and to me, easy to use. I certainly don’t stress the system, though. Customer service is robust. You can also find accountants and bookkeepers who register as partners with CosmoLex, who specifically know the software. I found one that way, and that has worked out well. I also like that it integrates with LawPay and Casemaker, both of which I use. In all, it seems very well thought out. I can’t think of a downside. It more than fills all my needs.

Cosmolex offered its services to me for free while I was in an incubator program, and I like that Cosmolex supports incubators. I chose CosmoLex because it provides an all-in-one suite for managing my law practice (clients & accounting/bookkeeping). Since integrating CosmoLex into our Firm, we have been able to seamlessly operate from anywhere we can connect to the internet. Because I do not have an accounting/bookkeeping background, I found it to be a little challenging to appropriately manage our books. With that said, there are many CosmoLex video learning resources available (which have been very helpful) and the CosmoLex staff is always just a phone call away. Overall, my experience with CosmoLex has been nothing short of excellent. I listen to my colleagues talk poorly about their Firm management software. I only have positive things to say about my experience with CosmoLex. I suppose CosmoLex has improved the way we run our office in ways that I am lucky enough to not be able to imagine 🙂

The fact that is is hosted online and has every feature I think I made need moving forward…I’m positive it will make my practice well managed.

The ease of adding new custom fields and the improvements in the billing area have been so much nicer! I love that CosmoLex has everything in one program. We had Abacus before and had to have several programs open at once to achieve anything. CosmoLex has everything in one place, and with the added LawPay for credit cards, it makes my life SO much easier!

Working in a law practice that also uses an attorney trust account for many trust clients, the ease of billing and keeping track of client funds has been very helpful. It has made check writing and bank account reconciliations easier and quicker – I spend about 1/3 the time as I did before.

CosmoLex provides an ‘all in one’ solution to our docketing, accounting, financial reporting, and cloud storage requirements. Customer support for getting started has been amazing, with ongoing assistance at pretty much any time. Each of our lawyers is now fully integrated into the administration of the firm. We have total transparency amongst the partners, and no one has to take on the burden of the accounting by themselves.

The accounting features are comprehensive and the client portal really adds value for clients. The online payment option and partnership with LawPay is also a fabulous feature.

The practice was spending hours on support with our prior software provider…There was always a bug or some error in the system. With CosmoLex we get the most up to date software that is handled for us by their team in the cloud. No more tireless hours on the phone with support. It is more accessible, we spend lest time on support, and the platform is just more current and overall better. For example, it autocorrects words, we can cut and paste, the timer runs from device to device until you disable it. Great product!

I chose CosmoLex because it came on great recommendation from another law firm and has functionalities that other accounting software does not have (i.e. iOS application for docketing).

I believe Cosmolex has changed the way we run our office because everything is in the program so you really don’t need to go get the file instead just bring the matter up & everything is right at your finger tips.

As a first time user, I think it is really simple, I love that its got some color to it, everything is organized and it flows well. It’s very easy to log in and search what you need as well as organize clientele and offers ways to add fields so that you can narrow your searches better.

The ease of having everything in one place. All of your matters are easily accessible, creating dockets, doing billing directly in CosmoLex is a breeze.  There’s no concerns on needing to find another program for billing since it as included within CosmoLex, unlike some other programs. A simple 1-point solution, no need to try and locate parts or a file from other programs because it’s all saved in one location and is easily acceptable by our entire office team.

CosmoLex is like the outstanding office assistant I don’t have, who reminds me and keeps me on track without my having to remember every detail about every case and my schedule. CosmoLex provided me with a seamless experience over the summer as I moved to and fro between my under-construction office, home office, and car. CosmoLex has a lot of great features, including bill pay, document organization and creation, accounting, and cloud access. We started our firm with CosmoLex so we haven’t known anything else, but I would not want to try to keep track of everything without an all-inclusive system like CosmoLex. They are also quick to answer any problems, which is super helpful.

The thing I like most about CosmoLex is the ease of tracking time during the day. The Timesheet makes everything very easy. CosmoLex has almost completely changed the way we bill for time each day and has streamlined the process for most.

Things are running smoothly, I am able to work from anywhere at any time of the day. Any issues that I have with CosmoLex, I am able to send an email and get a call of assistance almost immediately.

The ability to accomplish so many tasks from one program. I have never used a program with so many features. This is the first time using CosmoLex – I truly like most of the features. Excellent support team. Easy to navigate once you learn all the areas…The ability to track time for billing is great – love the time clock feature. Overall, this is a great program and have enjoyed using it.

The Accounting features are top notch! The Cosmolex updates and improvements have been very helpful – particularly the ability to generate documents, open up duplicate screens, and I love the Notes box on the Relations.

I really enjoy having the ability to make the most of working remotely and having most content I need, readily available.
